The aim of education in the School of Medicine is to motivate students to be good physicians and/or excellent scientists.

To achieve this, instruction starts with basic medical terms and concepts, and continues through acquiring the medical skills needed to treat patients and conduct research, developing a genuinely humane feeling toward patients, and acquiring a self-study habit throughout the students’ professional life.
