Exchange Student

Any student who belongs to any of the universities under a student-exchange agreement with GU is able to enter Gunma University as a participant in a year-long “exchange student” program. GU has a mutual credit transfer system and a mutual policy not to collect tuition fees with those universities. Exchange students can attend most of the classes, the majority of which are carried out in Japanese. It is, therefore, desirable that those students have achieved a Level 2 of Japanese Language Proficiency Test an equivalent level of proficiency.
